Dr. Molly Fantasia has been on air for decades because the same questions keep coming up — and most people never get to ask them in an exam room.
Health Watch exists because of a gap. In a standard appointment there is rarely time for the question underneath the question — the one patients ask on the way out the door, or never ask at all.
What the Show Covers
Each episode works through a topic in depth: how IV nutritional medicine actually differs from a wellness drip, what POTS and dysautonomia do to a person's daily life, why gut health and autoimmune disease keep turning up together, and what to do when every test comes back normal.
Listener questions drive a substantial share of the content, which is why the show tends to run ahead of what we write about here. If a question comes up on air three times, it usually becomes an article.
Why We Keep Doing It
- Patients arrive better informed and ask sharper questions
- People who cannot afford or access care still get useful information
- It forces us to explain our reasoning in plain language rather than clinical shorthand
- It keeps us honest — a live audience notices hand-waving quickly
An informed patient is a better patient, and better patients get better outcomes. That is the whole argument for public education.
