Skin is an organ, and it reflects what is happening systemically. Our products exist because barrier repair belongs in a treatment plan, not a gift shop.
Patients occasionally raise an eyebrow at a medical practice carrying skin care. It is a fair reaction, given how much of that market is retail dressed as medicine. Our reasoning is narrower than it might appear.
Skin Reflects Systemic Health
Patients with autoimmune conditions, mast cell activation, chronic inflammation, and post-treatment recovery frequently develop reactive, compromised skin. The barrier stops holding moisture, everything stings, and standard drugstore products make it worse. This is not a cosmetic complaint — it affects sleep, comfort, and quality of life.
What We Formulate Around
- Barrier support first, so the skin can hold water and calm down
- Actives with peer-reviewed evidence, at concentrations that do something
- No common irritants, added fragrance, or filler ingredients
- Formulations tolerable for skin that reacts to nearly everything
That last point drives most of the decisions. Formulating for reactive skin means leaving things out, which is commercially unattractive and clinically correct. You can see the full range on our skin care products page.
Beautiful skin starts with an intact barrier. Almost everything sold to fix skin damages the barrier further.
Where It Fits in a Treatment Plan
Topical care does not resolve systemic inflammation. If your skin is reacting because of an underlying autoimmune or inflammatory process, that process is the actual target, and topicals make the interim more bearable while the systemic work is underway. We will always say which of the two we think you need.
Not sure what your skin needs?
Ask during your visit. If the problem is systemic rather than topical, we will tell you that instead of selling you a product.
Schedule a ConsultationFrequently Asked Questions
- Do I need to be a patient to buy the skin care products?
- No. The products are available to anyone, though patients often find a short conversation helpful in choosing between them.
- Are the products suitable for very sensitive skin?
- They are formulated specifically for reactive and sensitive skin, free of common irritants, added fragrance, and harsh fillers. If your skin reacts to almost everything, that is the population these were built for.
- Will skin care fix skin problems caused by autoimmune disease?
- No. Topical care supports the barrier and makes symptoms more tolerable, but an underlying inflammatory or autoimmune process needs to be addressed systemically.
